It is common to feel relaxed, tired and some times a little sore after a massage. this is because your muscles are being worked by the therapist. 

A massage doesn't need to be painful to be effective. Occasionally you may have a sensitive spot that feels like a knot. It is likely to be uncomfortable while the massage therapist works that area but if it becomes too painful, speak up and ask for lighter pressure.
